-Oversee operations and maintenance of a 7-MGD BNR wastewater treatment plant with 20 operations, maintenance and lab staff. <br>
-Oversee operations and maintenance of a 75 DT/day merchant <br>
bio-solids incineration facility. <br>
-Assist with merchant facility capacity management, customer scheduling, billing and market development. <br>
-Responsible for chemical inventory, purchasing and process control. Coordinate equipment, parts and service purchasing. <br>
-Oversee laboratory performance, air emissions systems and generation of regulatory reports. <br>
-Oversee facility Safety Program. <br>

Experience needed for this position (number of years, types on industries, etc): <br>
-3-5 years experience in the field of wastewater, water, industrial waste treatment or incineration preferred. <br>
-Background in plant operations, equipment/construction design, maintenance and/or construction management a plus. <br>
-2-3 years of supervisory experience a plus. <br>

Education and/or Licensing needed for this position: <br>
-Undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g. chemical, civil, mechanical, environmental or electrical). <br>
-Ability to obtain a CT Class III wastewater operators license within 1 year, with ability to obtain a CT Class IV license within 4 years. <br>

The person will generate, manage, maintain and report status of all corrective actions for the facility. They will provide detailed subject matter support during external audits (either Client or Certification) and will be lead member of internal audit team. This person will manage and maintain equipment maintenance records & system plus have ownership of the Safety Hazard worksheet reporting for the facility.<br>

This position will be asked to lead special projects as assigned and participate in one or more team process improvement initiatives. This role is focused on EH&S adherence and implementation of process improvements and is only suitable for an experienced self-starter with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.<br>

JOB SKILLS AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS<br>
&#8722; Working knowledge of document control requirements in an ISO9000 / ISO14000 environment<br>
