I am a student at UHa and for my major, I will be in England till Spring Break. I leave at the end of December, but the room is available from Dec 17th and on, until Mid March.
My roommate and I rent a very nice 2 bedroom apartment, with a small balcony in the main building of Clemens Place off Farmington Ave. We have cable and internet, and heat and hot water are included in the $510 a month rent. You would also play around 63 a month on top of that for cable and internet, my roommate pays the electricity. We also have gym and laundry access in our building, and parking right behind. My room has a full bed, desk, and dresser. There is also bus lines right outside the complex, and a shuttle to the university of Hartford.
I have a roommate, named Sal, who I love dearly and will be staying here the whole time.
I am willing to work out a deal with anyone for any portion of the time when I will be away. If you want only a month, that would still be amazing. I just want to take away some of my extra costs for my time in England. I would even pay the cable bill if my rent was covered.
