Signed, vintage original portrait Lavalle A126 - $200 (Northern RI)

I know absolutely nothing about art, just pick up pieces I like the look of. This vintage oil on canvas is signed Lavalle. In addition to the signature, either Toni or perhaps Joni Lavalle is written on the frame in the back. I liked the look of it. The seller said his parents, who taught art, traveled a lot in the 60's and 70's and bought quite a bit of art. They also liked to buy directly from the original artists. It was in a spare room stored for some time and has some dust and dirt but overall pretty good condition.
Painting is 20 inches wide and 24 inches tall.
