Rustic wall shelf using various woods. The two that are pictured, the one on the left is made from Cypress, the shelf is Sapele and a band of Maple. It is also finished using an exterior polyurethane. The one one the right is made from Cedar and the shelf is made of Pine and burned for effect. Ii has an interior polyurethane as its finish. The hanging system for both is simple...coated picture wire rated to 150 lbs, screwed with ends twist tied with rubbed shrink tube to secure the twist.
Other wood species, Cherry, Walnut, Maple, and Hickory are available at a higher cost as well as larger sizes to fit your specific need. Paintable options are also available.
