While my Grandfather was stationed as a Chaplain in Germany during WWII, my grandmother traded a local woman a loaf of bread in exchange for this framed print.

The frame itself was appraised in the early 1990s for about $100. The frame measures approximately 16” x 19,” and the opening for the mat measures approximately 12” x 15.”
