This is a gorgeous, antique National Cash Register cash register NCR model number 554-EL-5F. This massive bronze register with a beautiful 9-drawer oak cabinet is from 1915 and is in it's original, great condition. It works mechanically (manually, with the included hand crank) and also includes an electric motor, though I don't know if that works (the power cord is included but is not attached). The huge register came out of an over 100-year-old hardware store in Simsbury, CT and is now located in West Hartford.
This very rare and highly collectible, vintage bronze register is a real piece of Americana from the Second Industrial Revolution.
