This 58cm Marinoni Special road bike was built in February 1986 with Columbus butted steel tubing and a Campagnolo Triomphe groupset. The crankset is 170mm length with 42/52 chainrings showing very little wear. The 3T handlebars are 42cm wide. The suede saddle is a San Marco Corsair. The bottle/cage is Campagnolo Biodinamica. The wheelset is 32-spoke 700C Wolber rims, Sansin quick-release hubs and a Shimano 6-speed 13-24 freewheel (wheels not original to bike).
Marinoni is a very high quality, light weight steel frame bicycle made in Canada by bike racer and designer Giuseppe "Pepe" Marinoni in the classic Italian tradition. He is one of the most well known bicycle frame builders in North America. email Tony.
