bicycle frame material: aluminum
make / manufacturer: Specialized
model name / number: Expedition
We're selling a very nice Specialized Expedition 16" [seat tube measurement] mountain or hybrid bike -- aluminum frame... could comfortably be ridden by someone 5' [my wife's size - she was comfortable riding it] to 5'10.

This bike is ideal if you prefer upright handle bars for comfortable touring -- and it'd also be comfortable for unpaved bike trails, due to its wider than and less aggressive tread tires. Open [slanted] frame is a plus with stopping and starting.

It is highly adjustable in both the seat and handlebars to suit your size and preference.

This is not a cheaper, department store style bike. It is a mountain or hybrid bike from a quality manufacturer [comparable to Trek, Raleigh, Diamondback, Cannondale, etc.] with quality components.

There are several ways in which this bike is clearly better quality than a department store bike: it is made by a quality manufacturer, has quick release wheels [front and back]... and quick release seat post with a gel seat.

Medium frame [16" seat tube]. Easier to control and get your leg over than a frame with a high top tube.

Shimano Alivio shifters front and back. 21 speed [3x7]. I've adjusted/tuned it, so it shifts cleanly into all gears.

The lowest gear is a "Granny Gear" which makes uphills particularly easy.

Quick release wheels -- front and back -- for easy transport of the bike inside a car, if you prefer and quick release seat adjustment.

Well trued wheels with clean spokes. Tires in very good condition.

Seat post has built in shock absorber.

Fully functional bike, in good shape and cosmetically almost perfect... has just a few minor small scratches that any bike has after use.

Another minor point - bike didn't have a rear reflector - so I've added one.

This is a nice bike for road riding or bike trails [paved or not].

Our street is quiet and flat for easy test riding.

If you're interested to come see it, please call [no texts - it's a landline] eight six "oh" - five 13 - one 23 two [just avoiding spam calls]. If you get our answering machine, please leave your # more than once, to make sure we get it right.

So - phone calls ONLY, please.

I've dealt with responsible folks when I've sold things on Craigslist - hope to keep that up. If you want it, I'd ask $250 in cash, please. Thanks.
