JET PROPULSION PROGRESS, The Development of Aircraft Gas Turbines, by Leslie F. Neville and Nathaniel F. Silsbee. First Edition, Published by McGraw-Hill - 1948 Aviation Book on Jet Propulsion Progress and Mid Century Airplane Jet Engines and Aircraft Gas Turbines.
This is an authentic and RARE book of the era - it is not a reproduction, not a re-print, not a digital print. The Table of contents is shown in photo 2. The hard cover book has 232 pages with black and white photographs, drawings, two-fold-out schematics, a useful chronology, a glossary, a bibliography, and a decent index. The hard cover book is in fair condition, with tight binding, complete and intact pages, and considerable wear to the covers and spine. There are two library stamps that says, “Property of the Library Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas and more”, see pictures.
This book has been in our family library for a long time and in good to fair condition. This is a CASH Sale only, No Checks. We can meet at a local "safe place" so you to review the book and then decide if you would like it. Thank you for looking and considering this book on Craigslist.
