A few bucks and easy repairs and it’ll be a great around town commuter, especially in snow.
Has Falken Wildpeak ATW3 tires with plenty of tread left. Engine, transmission, and brakes all work great. Will include a Haynes repair manual too.
New parts:
(July-Sept 2025)
- New starter, front rotors, calipers, pads, front brake lines, muffler, and tail pipe
(Summer-Fall 2024)
- New rear brakes, water pump, rear hatch struts, rear wiper arm, HVAC blend door, and an oil change
Needs:
- Heat is weak but AC works fine
- Rear lower control arms ($30 on Rock Auto) since it has some torque steer at higher speeds
- Ratchet strapped the gas tank up for now, driveable but will need a new skid plate ($150 on Amazon)
- EVAP canister bracket is gone, so I quickly hung it up with wire (could use a proper ziptie job or new bracket). Check engine code P0456 came up with a small EVAP leak. I reattached a loose hose I saw coming off the EVAP canister, but haven’t reset the check engine light or done a drive cycle yet.
