Hello!
We are looking for a caring professional with time to teach an elective Running class in Hartford once a week on Tuesdays. The class happens from 3:50 P.M.-4:40 P.M. in-person. The kids in the class are bright, curious, and interested in learning through self and teacher-led projects. While the position is compensated at $50 per session, we are hoping to find someone who likes kids, is inspired to help out of the goodness of their heart, and genuinely thinks they have something to share.
While some Running experience helps, it is *totally* ok if you don't have any. We run a few local after-school classes in the area, and some of our best teachers are caring, empathetic individuals who don't have a Running background but do have childcare experience. We will teach you our curriculum and give you the lesson plans to follow. This can even be seen as an upskilling experience.
