1960's Retro Crewel? Embroidered wall hanging A109 - $75 (Northern RI)

I don't know if this is crewel or needlepoint or neither or if both of those are the same thing. It's fun and bright and old so take a look at the photos. The previous owner said it hung in her room in the 60's until she was a teen in 1970. Piece is in excellent condition. Colors are vibrant as though new. There is some slight moisture damage to the paper backing but it is only visible on the back paper. It has a number from the framing company but I don't know if this just an order number or not. Frame has a few nicks and scratches but overall excellent.
Frame is 16+1/4 inches wide and 16+5/8 inches tall.
