18.5 Intek engine. Husqvarna yth 18542 42" cut lawn tractor, low hours, needs repair. Great Parts tractor someone with a light tractor that needs a mower deck transmission body parts Etc. I may part it out, if you need parts let me know what you're looking for and how much you're looking to pay for it. I'm not going to take the wheels off it first if you get my drift. It was running and cutting great, transmission smooth, shifting smooth no bearing or other noises. Recent oil change, quality 10w/30 weight, Factory filter. I Started it ran it for a while. Turned it off went back to start it and the motor wants to turn over but won't spin. Spins fine with plug out. I was able to start it and run it by hand turning the motor past the compression stroke . Most likely a valve adjustment or a compression release problem. 42-in deck, 18.5 Briggs & Stratton overhead valve engine. This machine has very low hours as I have several other mowers and only use this to tow a cart and occasionally mow a little. All belts good. Did not burn oil or smoke; no leaks. No time to fix. You must be able to load it and remove it. Rolls easy. a low trailer with a ramp would be the easiest way to move it. great tractor if you have a similar one for parts too . Ariens is the same . Small crack in seat is glued and taped over. NEWTOWN Monroe CT.
