Supporting Autistic Youth (A group with a mission) (Central Connecticut Area)

I am here seeking to gather together a small group of people who desire to create something new for school-aged children on the spectrum (1st - 8th grade), especial when it comes to summer enrichment.
I have some ideas and now want to reach out to others to begin the process of putting something into action through conversations and development.
I am a father of a young child with Autism. He is my motivation and courage for wanting to do this for him and others. I know there are many parents and others out there doing great great work in this area, we likely benefit from their efforts in some way. I am not seeking to disrupt any of those activities or programs.
I work in the non-profit sector and have worked with children on the spectrum before my own child was diagnosed between age 1-2 and knew then more could be done.
This is a serious request to find individuals who would like to get involved with learning more, sharing, and seeing how their skills and abilities might be able to add to the mission.
First, let's talk and learn a little more about one another as a group and see what amazing things we can do together.
If you would like to participate in this group, no obligation, no money, no requirements. Please share your name, an email, and a brief reason why you'd like to participate. You will be emailed back with a date, time, and zoom link to participate in our first meeting taking place on September 12th at 6:30pm. Hopeful this time works for those who are seriously interested, if not, please still reach out as I'd hate to lose someone due to scheduling conflicts. We will discuss group meeting scheduling and build support around common interests, challenges, and ideas. This is not open to just anyone, so please be truly interested and serious about learning more and potentially getting involved.
