An exquisite hand painted vase made in Japan by Sigma The Taste Setter. The white ceramic vase features in 3D a pretty geisha girl in baby blue kimono and a fierce Kabuki warrior who is showing his gentleman's good manners by holding a yellow umbrella above the pretty lady's head. The handsome couple is from a Kabuki show. Kabuki is a classical Japanese dance-drama. Kabuki theatre is known for the stylization of its drama and for the elaborate make-up worn by some of its performers.
Size: 9" tall and 4" in diameter at the top, 5" at the bottom.
