The best, safest way to boil water for tea, hot cocoa or instant coffee due to auto shut off. Great for elderly or when kids are alone. Redmond RK-G127E. Has a 1.7 litre capacity. It only takes a few minutes to boil water when 1/4 full, takes closer to 10 minutes to boil when full. Really nice blue led light to indicate power is on. Auto shut off when full boil takes place.

Although I am in Middlefield, about halfway between Harford and New Haven only about 5 minutes off I-91 Exit 20, I also have the opportunity to meet people each weekday afternoon (September-June) on the Hartford/West Hartford line.
