Terravian Landscaping LLC is hiring an experienced **Asphalt and Paving Crew Worker** for commercial pavement installation, repairs, and property improvement projects.
We are looking for a dependable, physically strong, and serious worker who takes pride in producing high-quality work. This is an opportunity for someone who wants steady work, increased responsibility, and long-term professional growth.
### Minimum Requirements
* At least **2 years of asphalt, paving, or pavement construction experience**
* Valid driver’s license
* Reliable personal transportation to reach job sites or designated meeting locations
* Able to start immediately
* Punctual, dependable, and ready to work every scheduled day
* Able to work long hours when project schedules require it
* Comfortable performing physical outdoor work in heat, cold, and changing weather
* Able to lift and carry heavy materials, tools, and equipment
* Willing to follow instructions, learn new techniques, and work as part of a crew
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
### Job Responsibilities
Depending on experience, responsibilities may include:
* Asphalt placement, spreading, hand raking, and lute work
* Preparing and grading aggregate base
* Pothole repair, asphalt patching, and pavement restoration
* Applying tack coat and preparing joints and edges
* Operating or assisting with plate compactors, jumping jacks, rollers, asphalt saws, blowers, and hand tools
* Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment
* Assisting with milling, excavation, trench repair, and drainage-related pavement work
* Sealcoating, crack filling, line preparation, and general pavement maintenance
* Maintaining proper slope, drainage, compaction, and finished surface quality
* Cleaning equipment, trucks, trailers, and job sites
* Following PPE, traffic-control, and job-site safety procedures
* Supporting landscaping, snow, or other property-service projects when needed
Experience operating compactors, skid steers, mini excavators, asphalt rollers, or similar construction equipment is a strong advantage.
### Compensation
* **$18–$23 per hour**
* Final starting rate depends on experience, equipment skills, reliability, and interview performance
* Compensation can be discussed during the interview
* All hours and wages will be properly documented and processed according to applicable payroll and tax requirements
* Opportunities for additional hours and advancement may be available based on performance
