50 watt SL-X head. These master volume models don’t have clipping diodes in the gain circuit like the dual reverb 900 models like the 4500/4100, instead they have an extra 12AX7 preamp tube installed for an additional gain stage, controlled by the Sensitivity gain knob. Think JCM 800 with an added gain stage

This was originally built for 5881 power amp tubes but this has been modded to run classic Marshall EL34s. The current pair has approximately 10 hours of play time, you should always buy new tubes with vintage amp purchases but these will carry you over and then some.
