We are an eastern Connecticut based funk/dance/ band. We started learning covers about six months ago and plan to be gigging out by the summer. We are also writing originals but right now the covers are taking precedence while we flesh out personnel. We will be experimenting with bringing in some electro/triphop/hiphop after we spend some time out on the circuit.

So far, we have drumset/sampler, 2 guitars, bass, sax, and keys/synth.
Anything you can bring to the table will be considered. Percussion, tambourine etc. a huge plus but not at all required.
Auditions are for committed performers, as we are a hard working band. Not a casual jam.
Please call J at 8-six-oh---two 1 5---one-zero-8 8. please no text, no email. thx!
Here is a list of songs that you can familiarize yourself with for an audition:
Funky Nassau--The Beginning of the End
Baby Love--Mother's Finest
Better Change Your Mind--William Onyeabor
Everybody Loves The Sunshine--Roy Ayers
Let Em In--Paul McCartney ( uptempo and funked up)
Please don't feel overwhelmed if you don't learn everything exactly. We are patient! If you've got chops and performance skills, it'll show!
Also, this may go without saying, but the gender of the original vocalists on these tracks doesn't matter. We are just looking for a fun and engaging performer.
