We are an established home furnishing retailer with a beautiful showroom serving third-generation customers in Hartford. We are seeking a friendly, reliable Assistant manager with emphasis on Sales to assist the store manager and help maintain our tradition of excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers with a professional and friendly attitude
Handle sales transactions and operate the register accurately
Assist the manager with daily store operations
Open and close the store (Keyholder responsibilities)
Maintain showroom appearance and merchandise displays
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of retail or customer service experience
MS Excel and general computer proficiency is a must.
Previous keyholder experience essential
Must be a people person with strong communication skills
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
