The good: It has a new roof (it still needs to be sealed, but I have the sealer). It has a bathroom (shower and toilet). A stove with an oven, and a new black water tank.
The bad: I'm going to be honest with you, this slide in truck camper needs work. It had some leaking (hence the replacement roof) and the previous owner just covered up the damage rather than fix it.
I bought this earlier this year thinking that it just needed a little work and it would be good to go, but when I noticed what looked like water damage, I pulled down the previous owner's work and realized that it needed more than "a little" TLC. I didn't get a chance to test the heat, water, propane systems at all. I believe that they're functional, but I just never got to that point. You're more than welcome to test the systems out if you want to take a look (I'm not an expert at this stuff, and there's no manual).
Bottom line is that I could spend the time to fix this thing and camp in it, but I just don't have the time available this summer. I need something that's a bit more camp-ready. I paid $1500 for it, and I know it's not worth that.
I've started yanking out all the water damaged insulation and degraded wood, so it's certainly not a beautiful site. I'm being 100% upfront about this. The pictures show how things look today (it's not pretty). Do not even bother considering this unless you know what you're getting into.
