8 balls, 4 colors for 4 players. With small ball/pallino and the measuring string. Heavy duty plastic with no paint to chip off. Was formerly an illuminated version of bocce ball but that feature malfunctioned after a year so the inside has been cleaned out. Excellent and clean.
