Excellent compact camping lanterns. Uses 3 AAA batteries. I have two of the same units if you can use them, $10 each. Very low hours, excellent and clean. Here's information from LL Bean. I have one other style of LL Bean compact camping lantern also for $10, the last 7 pictures are of that other available light.
Collapsed or extended, our lightweight camp lights take up minimal space, making them handy to bring on hikes and camping trips, and easy to keep on hand in case of a power outage.

Although I am in Middlefield, about halfway between Harford and New Haven only about 5 minutes off I-91 Exit 20, I also have the opportunity to meet people each weekday afternoon (September-June) on the Hartford/West Hartford line.
